GeoGebra Work Day 3
Consider the center of a triangle. Unless the triangle is
equilateral, there are many centers of a given triangle. Here are four
examples:
- G the centroid - intersection of medians
- C the circumcenter - intersection of perpendicular bisectors
- O the orthocenter - intersection of altitudes
- I the incenter - intersection of angle bisectors
Use this
blank worksheet
to construct tools to make each of the four types of centers.
Are any three of these centers collinear? Explain.
Turn in a picture of your GeoGebra work with a brief explanation of your
discoveries on Monday.
